Ok, so I’ve got my (step) grandad in this years family secret santa, and I have no idea what to get him!
He’s 78, a bit deaf, and has had problems with his eyesight.
He was in the Airforce in the war, and has liked it when we’ve been to vintage aircraft museums and shows.
He likes films; Love Actually and Brideshead revisted are faves.
He used to run factories that made bras and bicycles.
He’s a lifelong fan of QPR football club, and goes to see them whenever he’s in the UK.
He lives on the Spanish coast with his younger wife.
The budget for the gift is £30-50 (and as I’m a student I’m aiming for the lower end!)
Any ideas?
Tickets to favorite museums would be good. Maybe even a box that includes tickets, gift card for local restaurant and certificate for a "date" to the museum. Another inexpensive but good gift is a photo album or scrapbook. Places like Snapfish.com make very nice photo albums. Every year we make a book for my mother and father-in-law. It includes pictures of our son during the year. This will be "Best of Max: Volume 4". All you have to do is go to the web site pick a book, choose page designs, layouts, and upload pictures. It is very simple and they walk you through the process. The books come out looking very nice (we always get the hardbound books). They offer a lot of discount and coupons so the books are very inexpensive (sometimes we just pay for shipping). You could include pictures of your family, vacations, trips to special events, etc.
